Match Day 9 - 10th of April 2006

The Scorpions bounced back tonight in emphatic fashion with perhaps our best ever team performance by destroying the league leaders 8 - 5. The team led throughout with resolute defending especially from Gordon and incisive attacks led by Steven.

Leading 4 - 2 at the break, things got pretty close mideway through the second half as the opposition threw everything at us, including a dubiously awarded penatly against Roger (by guess who) which would have made it 6 - 6 had they not missed! However a tactical move by Serge to put Kien in goals and move David into the forward line ensured that we continued to outclass them, eventually running out comfortable winners.

Hopefully this match will mark the start of our climb back up the ladder and into a finals spot.
